La gente de MS sigue destacandose por traer mas problemas que soluciones…
Resulta que si tenes instalado Office 2007 y queres instalar Visual Studio 2008, la instalacion da un error al iniciar la instalacion, concretamente “Visual studio web authoring component fail”.
El problema reside en que Office instala un componente llamado InfoPatch, que no se lleva muy bien con VS2008, asi que para resolver el conflicto, basta con desinstalar este componente.
La forma mas facil de hacerlo, es ir a Inicio -> Ejecutar -> y escribir “msiexec /x {30120000-0044-0C0A-0000-0000000FF1CE}”.
I arrived today to the US, after almost 15 hs of flight, and some time between flights.
The hotel is really nice, with large and comfortable bedrooms. Today we lunch at a Japanese restaurant, and then, after a short break, we go to Stanford University, which is awesome! It’s much bigger than i can imagine, and so cool…
Then, we went to Palo Alto, a small city or town (don’t know really) with a main avenue full of stores, cafes and restaurants. So far so good, everything is really nice over here…
Tomorrow comes the big hit, as i go in my first day at EA Redwood Headquarters, so i can come back tomorrow with some more news…

This is my first english post, and the reason for this is that i am on my way to Redwood city, California, near San Francisco, to work on the biggest video game company in the world, Electronic Arts. I’m gonna be there for the next 3 weeks, and i intend to report some of the things going on there here in the blog.

El dia de hoy estamos de mudanza… gracias a que nic.ar se porto bien y de un dia para el otro me delego los dns del nuevo host… estamos ya vivitos y coleando en ELSERVER.
Prometo tratar de estar mas por aca, y no abandonar la via freak.
